One of my clients was selling her home in Geelong and buying a new place in Melbourne — and both settlements were planned for the same day. Understandably, she was feeling a bit overwhelmed. The purchase was also subject to the sale of her current home, which meant the timing had to be spot on.

Once both deals were confirmed, I worked behind the scenes to coordinate the settlements so they aligned perfectly. To make things even easier, I arranged early access to her new home through a licence agreement, giving her a full week to move in gradually — no rushing, no pressure.
